Artist Statement
My artwork is the expression of my understanding of symbolism, folklore, and nature. These aspects are important to convey my emotions and personal interest, while alluding to the connection of life and nature. Folklore is something that merges my love for stories with the history of its community.
I have always had a drive to try new projects and research new things. Combining my personal research with primarily watercolor and gouache painting to create original pieces. Researching, not only at home, but by physically going out in nature and exploring the subjects and places as parts of my process. I define my artistic journey of learning and exploration.
